Hello! I'm Preeta Kamat, a third year medical student at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. I studied Neuroscience and Global Health Studies at Northwestern University prior to beginning medical school in 2023. My research interests include quality improvement, neonatal and perinatal medicine and social determinants of health. My current project titled "Assessing Barriers to Implementation of 2022 Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) Concordant Care For Hyperbilirubinemia Management in Neonates" seeks to understand factors contributing to subthreshold phototherapy in neonates with hyperbilirubinemina.
