Caleb Cave, MD is a third-year neonatal-perinatal medicine fellow at University of Nebraska Medical Center/Children's Nebraska. His primary fellowship scholarly activity and current research interests focus on the role of lung and diaphragm POCUS (point of care ultrasound) in predicting extubation success in the extremely preterm infant population. In addition to clinical research, he highly values medical education and has received several teaching awards during his post-graduate training. He plans to pursue a career in academic neonatology after completing fellowship.
