Ashley Lew, B.A., is a medical student conducting research in the lab of Dr. Bimal P. Chaudhari at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Ashley is currently in her second year of medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Prior to starting medical school, she completed her pre-medical education in human health at Emory University, where she also worked as a clinical research coordinator in the Vaccine Treatment and Evaluation Unit. Ashley also spent time as a clinical assistant and research assistant with Northwestern Medicine's Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine. She has research experience in various areas of healthcare, such as COVID-19 mRNA vaccine effectiveness, physicians' career trends, and perceptions of using artificial intelligence in fertility treatment. Ashley has a particular interest in addressing health disparities and regularly volunteers at free clinics in Columbus.
