Fatima Al-Sammak is a 3rd-year medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Fatima is passionate about preventive care and improving access to care, especially in underserved communities. Fatima is very interested in pediatrics and hopes to apply for either a pediatrics or med-peds residency in the near future. She is involved in the Newborn Brain Injury Lab led by Dr. Eric Peeples at UNMC's Department of Pediatrics.
