Caroline Ryder, MS, APRN, NNP-BC works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women's Hospital, and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Emory University with a major in Classical Civilizations and a minor in Spanish. She went on to receive her Master of Science degree with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialization from The Ohio State University College of Nursing. She worked at University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital for 10 years prior to moving to Chicago with her family. Special interests include ELBW infants, neonatal IVH and intracranial bleeding and outcomes, and quality improvement.
