Elizabeth Flock, B.S. Neuroscience, is a research technician working in the Alfano lab at WashU Medicine Department of Pediatrics-- Newborn Medicine. Her work explores the role of endothelial ADAM10 in the progression of pathogen-specific sepsis. The team aims to determine mechanisms of disease by applying a microbiological lens to inciting insult, driving factors, and downstream effects. Elizabeth's work fosters an appreciation of the greater biological systems which shape human health.
