Medical Student
Marian University Wood College of Osteopathic Medicine
Esther Zelenovskiy is a second-year osteopathic medical student at Marian University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her research focuses on evaluating the benefits of osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), particularly lymphatic techniques, in pediatric patients, with an emphasis on how parental involvement can be integrated into care. In addition to her research, Esther serves as the Professional Development Director of her school’s Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) chapter and as Co-Chair of Community Outreach for the Near West Free Clinic, a student-run clinic serving the Indianapolis community. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2023 with a degree in Kinesiology, where she was recognized as the local scholar nominee for the American Kinesiology National Scholar Award. While she remains open to a broad range of specialties, Esther has developed strong interests in internal medicine, particularly cardiology, as well as in pediatrics, where she hopes to continue integrating her research and clinical passions.
